Post-Holliday Post
Dec. 27th, 2008 09:05 amI hope that every one had a good and survivable holliday. Mine was quiet and I got to sleep in. Yay for sleep! Frank made the traditional Big Pot of Chii tm and it was very good. I'm happy that the Hollidays are over and done with. I've been bombarded with Christmas since October and I'm more than sick of it. Christmas Eve in a retail wonder land is enough to scar any phyche. Most of the shoppers on Christmas Eve were a big FAIL.
If a shopper expressed Shock and Dismay over people being packed in like a herd of cattle- FAIL.
If a shopper got angry at the sales clerk because they had to help a long line of customers who were there before them- FAIL.
If a shopper let their kid kick over a flat-bed freight cart full of merchandise with no more than a giggle and a shake of their finger- FAIL and Electro-shock threapy.
If, while I'm pushing a full shopping cart of stuff in one hand and pulling a loaded-up flat bed cart in the other and you, the customer decide it's funny to play chicken with me- FAIL and I WILL win.
